How Much Do You Need?

This calculator can help you find how many cubic meters of mulch, sand, soil or
gravel you need.

Please let us know how much you need when ordering, in the following format:

• • Length (in metres) x width (in metres) x height/depth (in metres) = cubic metres m³

• • Length (in meters) x Width (in meters)= sq meters (m2)

Our Tips

Mulch – it is generally recommended that mulch be spread at a thickness of 75-100mm (0.075 – 0.1m)
Gravel – when used as a ground cover needs to be 2- 3 times the depth of the gravel size. Eg. 20mm river pebble needs to be a minimum depth of 50mm.
